Every story begins somewhere. How did you two meet, and what brought you together?
Our story began through mutual friends. At first, we met casually and remained friends for some time, building a strong foundation without even realizing how meaningful that stage would become. There was never any rush — just natural conversations, shared moments, and a connection that continued to grow.
Over time, that friendship gently evolved into something deeper. What started so simply eventually turned into a love that felt natural and undeniable, and that’s when everything truly fell into place for us.
Why did you choose Italy for your wedding? Was it a longtime dream or a spontaneous decision?
We chose Italy because it offered everything we were looking for — breathtaking landscapes, incredible cuisine, and an atmosphere that simply feels romantic and timeless.
It wasn’t necessarily a lifelong dream we had been planning for years, but once the idea came up, it instantly felt right. The more we imagined it, the more natural the decision became. Italy felt like the perfect setting for the kind of intimate and meaningful celebration we envisioned.
What inspired the style and atmosphere of your wedding day?
The main inspiration came from the stunning ruin location our planner, Katrin, discovered for us on the Amalfi Coast. The historic stone architecture, the sweeping coastal views, and the dramatic natural surroundings completely captured our hearts.
Since we live in sunny South Florida, we wanted to incorporate bright and vibrant florals that reflect the warmth and color we’re used to at home. The combination of the dramatic Amalfi backdrop and lively, colorful flowers created a beautiful balance — elegant yet joyful. Getting married in Amalfi truly felt like a dream come to life.
When you look back, what moments stand out the most — the ones you’ll never forget?
Because it was just the two of us, the entire day felt incredibly magical. There was something powerful about knowing that every moment belonged entirely to us — no distractions, no pressure, just pure presence.
One detail we’ll never forget is the brief light rain that fell during the day. We took it as a sign of good luck, and somehow it made the experience feel even more meaningful. The planning team made everything feel effortless and joyful, allowing us to fully embrace every moment.
Was there something that made your celebration feel especially personal?
What made the day so personal was its intimacy. It was simply the two of us sharing our vows and emotions in a setting that felt private and sincere.
The celebration wasn’t about traditions or expectations — it was about our story. Every detail reflected who we are as a couple, and that made the experience deeply meaningful.

From the Wedding Planner
How did you first connect with the couple?
It was a very natural beginning. The bride, who lives in the United States, discovered my page while searching for a wedding planner in Italy together with her mother. She was drawn to the refined, magazine-style aesthetic and wrote to me saying she dreamed of having something just as beautiful, but didn’t know where to begin.
From our very first conversation, there was an immediate sense of warmth and ease between us. What began as a simple inquiry quickly developed into a genuine connection.
What was their initial vision, and how did it evolve into the final design?
Since it was an elopement for two, we decided early on that a curated wedding package would be the most practical and elegant solution.
The couple was choosing between Lake Como and the Amalfi Coast, and since the wedding was planned for May, I recommended Amalfi for its more stable weather and softer spring atmosphere. Initially, they imagined something small and cozy.
What we ultimately created remained intimate, but it became far more spectacular than they had first envisioned — a panoramic ceremony setting overlooking the Amalfi Coast, followed by a beautifully styled statement table designed exclusively for the two of them. It felt luxurious yet authentically Italian.
One of the most memorable moments was the arrival experience: after the taxi dropped them off, their luggage was transported to the venue by donkeys — a charming and rare detail even by Italian standards. That moment became such a highlight that this wedding package quickly turned into one of our most requested experiences.
Tell us about the venue. Why was it chosen?
The Amalfi Coast offers countless breathtaking venues, but many come with extremely high price tags and are designed for large-scale celebrations.
For elopements, the challenge is different. The goal is to find a location that feels refined, visually striking, and truly “wedding-ready,” while still making sense financially for a celebration designed for just two people rather than a full banquet.
Over the years, we have built exclusive partnerships with several unique venues — some of which are not publicly advertised — allowing us to create curated experiences that combine beautiful settings, quality cuisine, and the authentic spirit of Italy.
From your perspective, what made this wedding truly special?
What made this wedding special was the natural harmony between the couple and our team.
We tend to attract couples who share our positive, light energy, and that same spirit flows through everyone involved — from myself as the planner to the stylist and every professional on site. When everyone is on the same wavelength, the atmosphere becomes effortless, gentle, and truly refined.
This celebration carried exactly the mood we envisioned together — elegant yet relaxed, emotional yet joyful. It was a perfect reflection of the couple’s dream and of the soulful, beautifully balanced experience we strive to create for international couples who place their trust in us.
